A fast-absorbing gel-cream for skin that runs normal to oily, or feels dehydrated without being dry. Built around Aquaxyl™, betaine and sodium hyaluronate, it replenishes moisture at the surface and helps limit the water loss that comes with wind and long days outdoors.
Designed as a first layer. It absorbs in about a minute, leaves no film, and sits flat under sunscreen — which, in this part of the world, is where a moisturiser spends most of its life.
Powered by Aquaxyl™, Betaine and Sodium Hyaluronate, with Chamomile Extract, Olive-Derived Squalane, Sesame Oil and Sodium Lactate.

A xylitol-derived complex that works in two directions at once: it supports the skin’s own moisturising factors and lipid production, while limiting water loss to the air. It also increases expression of aquaporin-3, the channel protein that moves water between skin layers.
In independent comparative testing published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Aquaxyl at 4% performed comparably to urea and better than NMF-component and plant-extract alternatives. In supplier in-vivo testing at 3%, hydration rose 13.5% at 24 hours and transepidermal water loss fell 15.4% at eight days.

Barrier Balance is formulated for normal, dry, combination, dehydrated, and sensitive skin. Its lightweight gel-cream texture absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy finish — making it suitable for daily use across all seasons.
Aquaxyl™ is a clinically-studied xylitol complex that works on three levels: replenishing surface moisture, stimulating the skin's natural aquaporin channels to improve water transport, and reducing trans-epidermal water loss. The result is hydration that doesn't just sit on the surface.
Yes — it's designed for exactly that. Apply Barrier Balance and allow it to absorb fully (around 60 seconds) before layering SPF or any makeup product on top. Its non-occlusive texture won't pill under other products.
Barrier Balance is a lightweight water gel — fast-absorbing, ideal for morning use and warmer months. Barrier Resilience is a richer cream with deeper occlusive support — better suited for very dry or sensitive skin, or for night-time use. Both can be layered together for a complete moisture ritual.
