At sootheKA, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how The KA Collective Limited collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you visit sootheka.com or join our waitlist. We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What information we collect
We currently collect only the information you voluntarily provide:
- Email address — when you sign up for our waitlist via our website form
- Name — if you choose to provide it alongside your email
We do not currently collect payment details, physical addresses, or any sensitive personal information. When our store launches, we will update this policy before collecting any additional data.
We also collect standard technical data automatically — including your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited — through our hosting provider (Vercel) and any analytics tools we use. This data is used in aggregate to improve site performance.

We use the personal information you provide solely for the following purposes:
- To notify you when sootheKA products become available for purchase
- To send you brand updates, early access offers, or exclusive pre-launch information (only if you have opted in)
- To respond to any enquiries you send us directly

Who we share your information with
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only with trusted service providers required to operate our website and communications:
- Formspree — processes our waitlist form submissions and stores email addresses on our behalf
- Vercel — hosts our website and processes standard server logs
All service providers are required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

How long we keep your data
We retain your email address on our waitlist until:
- You unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, or
- We determine the data is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@sootheka.com. We will action your request within 20 working days in accordance with the NZ Privacy Act 2020.

- Request correction of any inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
